Taylor Lautner admits that he struggled to carry co-star Kristen Stewart for a sequence in the upcoming movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
The actor, who plays Jacob Black in the vampire franchise, says because of a technical reason he took the decision to carry Stewart but it turned out to be painful for him, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"There's a scene where I'm carrying Kristen, and it's also, like four pages of dialogue. We actually had plans, a rig that was basically going to carry her, and I was just going to pretend that I was carrying her. We got there on the day, and the rig didn't look very natural," Lautner said.
"They were like, ‘What are we going to do?' and I'm like, ‘I'll just carry her. She's like, what, 110 pounds [50 kilos]? It's no big deal!' We filmed that scene all day long, did the wide shot, did my close-up, did her close-up, the back shot, everything. It was so hard. ... It was painful," he added.
Twilight madness
A mini-tent city has bloomed outside the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles to see an Eclipse.
Hundreds of fans are awaiting Thursday night's red-carpet premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third instalment of the vampire movie series.
About 9,000 wristbands are being handed out to fans, who began erecting tents on Monday on concrete steps outside the theatre. Nokia officials, who have issued a list of camping rules, say the wristbands must be worn until the premiere is over.
