Syrian singer Asala said that work on her first movie has been postponed until the end of the year. The star said she hoped she would be pregnant by then because she plays the role of a pregnant woman in the movie.

Egyptian singer Tamer Husni denied rumours about his marriage or engagement. The singer said he was definitely single, and that love and commitment will come when the time is right. Tamer said the only woman in his life now is his mother, and that's the only lasting love he cares about right now.

Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi says she will never sing a duet again. Nawal said that although her previous duet with Wael Kfouri in the early 1990s was a success, she has now moved beyond performing with another singer.
Nancy's new album
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram's new album will be released very soon and will feature a special 15-minute romantic track Ana Ben Edeik (between your arms). Nancy also said that she was personally financing the production of the album, and wished to sell it to a production company that would appreciate it.
