Actor Anil Kapoor will not only be seen performing hard-hitting action sequences in ‘Shootout at Wadala’; he has also sung a song for the thriller, a prequel to his 2007 film ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala.’

“I have done many things in this film and one of them is rapping... I have rapped for the first time,” said the 53-year-old actor during the live trailer launch of the film at the Great India Place Mall in Noida on Saturday.

“Yes 25-30 years back, I sang for some films and once again I have stepped in front of the mike and the feeling is amazing.”

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, ‘Shootout At Wadala’ revolves around the first registered shootout of Mumbai Police, in which gangster Manya Surve was shot dead in 1982 at Wadala.

Kapoor plays Assistant Commissioner of Police Isaque Bagwan in the film and he gave a live performance to launch the first trailer of the film. A shootout scene was staged in Noida.
