Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones are reportedly being considered for playing Elizabeth Taylor in a new biopic.
According to industry sources, Russell Crowe, Clive Owen and Colin Farrell have been lined up to play Taylor's husband Richard Burton, reports telegraph.co.uk.
Oscar-winning American director Mike Nichols reportedly wants to make the film, based on the book Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century.
Writers Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger were given unprecedented access to a series of love letters written by Burton to Taylor during the course of their two marriages.
And if reports are to be believed, both Jolie, 35, and Zeta-Jones, 40, who recently reprised a Taylor role in A Little Night Music, had expressed an interest in playing Taylor.
