Television actress Achint Kaur, known for playing modern women on the small screen, feels there is a dearth of writers who can churn out good comedies.
"I have read comedy scripts and except for J.D. Mathejia [of Khichdi fame] or Office Office, I have not liked any other comedy script," Kaur said.
"We have not evolved to that level that we can write good comedies. There are only some shows that are good, but other comedies don't excite me," she added.
