Dubai: Abhishek Bachchan and his Bol Bachchan co-stars are UAE-bound this weekend. Bachchan, Asin and Ajay Devgn, who star in the upcoming romantic comedy, are the latest stars to stop off in the UAE to promote a film before its release.
Bol Bachchan is out on July 5. The trip is for a press junket, with a press conference scheduled but no premiere of the film.
The trio are also going to visit a jewellery store but in a bid to avoid the dangerous overcrowding that has accompanied recent Bollywood star visits to the UAE, will not be interacting with the public.
Salman Khan had to cut short two mall visits earlier this month due to security fears, while the premiere of Priyanka Chopra’s Teri Meri Kahaani last week saw scenes of violence as crowds struggled for a glimpse of the star.
The big question is, will Mrs Bachchan, aka Aishwarya Rai, accompany her hubby? As she’s been widely travelling with him and baby Aaradhya, it’s not a long shot. We’ll bring you more details as we have them.
