Here comes Vijay
After more than three decades, Inspector Vijay, a character immortalised by Amitabh Bachchan in his blockbuster film Zanjeer, will be the main inspiration for his son Abhishek’s character in Rohan Sippy’s next movie Dum Maro Dum. Abhi plays a no-nonsense cop who fights against Goa’s drug mafia.
Considering the expectations, Abhi has been preparing intensively for the role and is hoping the foreign studio which is giving the film a slick, contemporary look, will add substance to his performance.

She may play glamorous and girl-next-door roles, but Kareena just can’t help looking naturally gorgeous all the time. The actress is set to play a stylish mother to an eight-year-old child in director Anubhav Sinha’s sci-fi venture Ra.One. The film also features Shah Rukh Khan as a superhero.The Jab We Met star says she doesn’t want to play a stereotypical mother that Hindi films always portray, but a modern mum. So ace Bollywood fashion designer Manish Malhotra has been assigned the job of giving her an extremely glam look.
According to sources, Kapoor’s look will border on the ultra chic and her wardrobe will include the trendiest of outfits. She will be seen in short dresses, skirts and tight-fitting tops.
“The film is based in London and she needs to be dressed keeping in mind the avatar of a modern mother,” a Mumbai tabloid quoted Malhotra as saying. Malhotra will dress Kapoor in his latest summer/spring collection.
Shiney Ahuja, remember the guy? Yes, the same guy who made quite a splash in B-town with his good looks and talent and then lost it all when his maid servant accused him of rape, will be seen onscreen in Ek Accident opposite Soha Ali Khan.
A psychological thriller, the movie is directed by Abhijit Chaudhary and will be released this summer.
