Art imitates life for Ritiesh and Genelia

The plot Because it’s just weeks after their real-life wedding, the release of this romcom starring Ritiesh and Genelia is one of the most anticipated of the year so far.

The fun, action-packed film follows free-spirited 20-something Mini (D’Souza) who’s pursued by all the men in her town because she’s beautiful and funny, but also because she holds a Canadian passport and is heir to her father’s fortune. And her father is keen to marry her off very soon, which doesn’t suit her at all.

So when she meets a lowly employee of her father’s, Viren (Deshmukh), she spies an opportunity to escape her looming wedding by orchestrating a kidnapping. As she and Viren go on an adventure-filled road trip, love begins to blossom, of course, between this unlikely pair.
