‘Jackpot’ finally hits gold with a release date

Producer Khurram Riaz and first-time director Shoaib Khan’s long-in-the-making film, Jackpot, has finally got a release date: July 6, 2018.

The makers thought of announcing this in an interesting way, with the launch of the film’s fresh poster that features the main star cast — Sanam Chaudhry, Noor Hassan, Inayat Khan, Jawed Shaikh, Adnan Shah Tipu and Sana Fakhar.

Surprisingly, Indian TV actress Reyhna Malhotra (of Ishqbaaz fame), who makes her debut in a Pakistani film, isn’t part of the poster. It may be mentioned here that her scenes were shot in Thailand.

The film’s director of photography (DoP), Anubhav Bhansal, is also from India.
