UAE businesses, individuals deepen trust levels with AI to get decisions right
AI helping with hiring? Even come up with recommendations on company redundancies?
The reach of AI into more areas of UAE corporate decision-making is happening – and employees are ready for it, according to research by Endava, the tech services provider.
The study, launched by Endava, the leading next-generation technology services provider, found that
As of now, “79% of UAE business decision-makers trust AI to allocate budgets within organisations,” the report finds. That includes ‘decisions that could impact individual compensation’.
A similar percentage expressed ‘trust in AI’ to manage talent, which includes hiring and performance management. And 80% would be ‘comfortable’ with AI-driven systems overseeing critical health and safety functions.
This belief in AI even extends beyond workplaces.
“Individuals are now looking to AI as a strategic advisor in their personal lives,” says the report.
Four in five of the Endava respondents say they would ‘trust a fully automated AI system to make decisions about their careers’.
This extends rom determining ‘ideal salary progression’ to advising on when to seek promotions or consider new roles.
“An equally high percentage would trust AI to make personal financial decisions such as investments and retirement planning,” said the statement.
