Dubai: The world’s largest PC manufacturer Lenovo has launched its first A10 Android laptop in the UAE.

It is like a normal tablet with a keyboard built in instead of the usual Bluetooth keyboard.

“The 10-point multi-touch screen flips 300 degrees and weighs just one kilo, it is perfect device for web browsing and entertainment on the move,” said Mohammed Hilili , Lenovo’s Gulf General Manager.

The 10.1-inch device has a 1366x768 pixel display, 1.5Ghz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and kits priced at Dh1,299. Buyers will get a seven-inch Lenovo tablet worth Dh399.

An industry expert said that the device is like a replacement for the current tablet and the keyboard. Instead of carrying the keyboard with you, A10 is like a normal laptop and has a premium finish.
