TRUMP FACES FURTHER INVESTIGATION: Donald Trump's legal troubles seem to be escalating as he becomes the target of federal investigation into classified document handling after leaving the White House. Prosecutors have reportedly completed their inquiry and are moving towards filing charges against the former US president. The investigation centres around potential violations of national security laws and obstruction of document retrieval. Over 300 classified documents were discovered at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence. Defense lawyers have been notified of Trump's target status, allowing them to present their side of the story. Recent meetings between Trump's legal team and US officials indicate the investigation is in its final stages, with witness questioning and document retrieval already taking place. Those who continue to err are being shuttered, while others have paid stiff penalties for any gaps they had left in their transparency and reporting standards. The message from the regulator remains consistent – there is no room for offenders. And the chances for repeat offences are next to nothing. HAYAT ORGAN DONATION PROGRAMME: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) kicked off an awareness drive about organ donation on June 6, World Transplant Day. The campaign disseminates information about HAYAT, the registry for the National Programme for Organ Donation and Transplantation. It also promotes a healthy lifestyle and regular health checks. Organ donation from a deceased can save up to eight lives, specially patients suffering from chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, lung failure, cirrhosis and kidney failure. WORLD PADEL LEAGUE BRINGS TOP PERFORMERS TO DUBAI: At the inaugural World Padel League playing out at the Coca Cola Arena this weekend, the action isn’t limited to the racquet sport. AUSTRALIA GIVING A PEEK INTO THEIR ASHES APPROACH: World Test Championship final Day One was all but engrossing, The bowlers dominated the start of the day, while Travis Head and Steve Smith then took complete control to put on an unbroken 251-run stand for the fourth wicket, taking Australia to 327 for three. The manner in which those runs were scored made it an interesting watch. Head and Smith scored at a run rate of 4.12 while the overall rate stands at 3.87 runs per over. Phenomenal scoring rate. There was a time even scoring at 2 to 2.5 runs was a big thing, but this is beyond comprehension on a green-top wicket. One of the key reasons for high-scoring rate must be the impact of Twenty20. These batters train day in a day out to play their power-hits, which has translated in the positive approach in the five-day format.
