NO KNOCKOUT PUNCHES IN US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE. The final US presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former vice-president Joe Biden was a much calmer version of their first stand-off. There were no knockout punches, and with the candidates' microphones turned off at times, their facial expressions often did the talking. Both Trump and Biden offered starkly divergent views on a range of topics – the fight against COVID-19, race, climate change, families and national security. But with more than 47 million votes already cast and with fewer undecided voters at this point than in previous years, it is unlikely that the debate will influence voters on November 3.
