RONALDO’S FIRST OUTING FOR JUVE IN PORTUGAL BRINGS NO JOY: FC Porto, who won the Uefa Champions League in 2004 and ushered their coach Jose Mourinho on way to stardom, showed they can be a tough customer at home. The Portuguese team ruined Cristiano Ronaldo's first game for Juventus in his native Portugal as they were outplayed 2-1 in the Champions League last-16, first leg tie last night. Juve’s lacklustre performance prompted their coach Andrea Pirlo to say that his team handed victory to their hosts on ‘’a silver platter’’. It could, however, be a different story when Juventus host the second leg in Turin on March 9. [COMMENT BY: Gautam Bhattacharyya, Senior Associate Editor]
