First it was Lewis Hamilton taking down Michael Schumacher’s seemingly unbreakable record of Formula. One wins, now football’s Cristiano Ronaldo has inched closer to reaching the landmark of international goals scored by Iran’s Ali Daei. Ronaldo moved closer to becoming the all-time top scorer for a national team on Wednesday night when he netted once in Portugal's 7-0 rout of Andorra to take his tally to 102 international goals, seven shy of the 109 scored by Daei, the only other male footballer to surpass the 100-goal milestone for a national team. Given his form, few would doubt Ronaldo has the capability to add to his tally. [COMPILED BY: Matthew Smith, Sports Editor]
