MANCHESTER UNITED HIT THE RESET BUTTON: Manchester United’s pre-season training begins today and new coach Erik ten Hag will be watching his players very closely to see if they have what it takes to help reset the club ahead of the new campaign. Much has been said about the former Ajax coach but now isn’t the time for talk, it is time for work. Is he the right man to get United back to winning ways, something they have not experienced ever since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped as manager in 2013? Time will well. But right now, he will be keen to see what kind of squad he has inherited and which areas he needs to strengthen ahead of the big kick off in August. United will definitely be making several transfers this summer and if they can get their number one target, Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona, it would help appease the fans and give Ten Hag a solid foundation to build on.
