RANBIR KAPOOR TAPS INTO HIS DARK AND SAVAGE SIDE IN NEW FILM: If you are easily triggered and have a rocky relationship with your father, then 'Animal' is not for you, declared its lead actor Ranbir Kapoor. As far as drumming up buzz for a film, this opening strategy where you don't go the usual route of peddling your films with all your might, will draw you in. Kapoor, who's known for mostly doing endearing, benign, and vanilla roles of an endearing man-child in most of his movies, is now collaborating with one of India's most polarising directors, Sandeep Reddy Vanga of 'Kabir Singh' fame. This director is known to glorify misogyny and idealise violent courtship as love, but Kapoor believes that movies are for entertainment. Art should upset and provoke, believes the actor. And we agree with the last bit. (By Manjusha Radhakrishnan, Entertainment Editor)
