Under India's G20 presidency, there is a commitment to prioritise addressing the urgent issue of the climate crisis. This commitment specifically encompasses key areas such as climate finance, the advancement of green technologies, and ensuring a just and equitable transition to sustainable energy sources. Notably, the forthcoming summit in New Delhi is expected to be graced by the presence of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It is important to highlight that G20 member countries hold immense significance for the UAE's economy, playing a pivotal role in its trade activities, including accounting for 43% of non-oil exports, 39% of re-exports, and 67% of imports.
