Dubai: It’s where the private jets hang out - Jetex’s VIP Terminal in Dubai South.

While the Jetex Dubai Flight Base Operation was founded in 2005, it was only in 2016 that the VIP Terminal began operations.

Since the opening the terminal has served over 23,000 passengers till the first quarter of 2018.


According to Sunny Landeros, Brand and Communications Director at Jetex: “Roughly 70 per cent of private jet air traffic out of Dubai in 2017, up to now, was facilitated from Dubai South. Jetex is the largest handler of these private flights.”

Gulf News went on a live tour of the VIP lounge.

Travellers at this luxurious terminal range from private business owners to government VIP officials, and also many celebrities.

The facility boasts of an upscale contemporary interior design and five star hospitality.

Adel Mardini, CEO and President of Jetex said: “Dubai government is investing heavily to develop Dubai South aviation zone to make it the aviation capital of the world. Jetex’s VIP Terminal is in line with this aim.”

The terminal is located near the Al Maktoum International Airport.
