Dubai: The tenth edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD) 2013 will be held from March 25 – 27, and will bring together 275 companies from 66 countries.

DIHAD Conference and Exhibition has succeeded over the past 10 years in attracting the world’s key humanitarian executives and leaders to Dubai to share their expertise, voice their thoughts and address financial, political, social and environmental humanitarian issues that face the world today.

The conference and exhibition will take place at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, supported by Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, the United Nations, UAE Red Crescent, Dubai Cares, International Humanitarian City and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

There will be 50 speakers and specialists at the conference, which will include sessions such as “Partnerships to further strengthen disaster response operations”, “Partnerships and food security; who are the players and what are the big strides being made?” and “Humanitarian trends: what has changed and what lies ahead”.

DIHAD is recognised as one of the major humanitarian industry specialised events which brings the latest technical updates from the humanitarian industry at regional and international levels.
