Dubai: Dar Al Ber Society organised a special Eid Al Adha gift distribution ceremony for children with determination and their families.
The event, which was held at the society’s head office on Shaikh Zayed Road, was attended by over 100 people and included various fun-filled activities for the children as well as free medical check-ups for all guests.
The children and their families received special gifts which included garments, shoes, bags, belts, toys and more, Dar Al Ber Society said. The gift distribution ceremony was followed by lunch.
“The welfare and happiness of children with determination is so close to my heart. We, at Dar Al Ber Society, always look for ways and opportunities to do something for them,” said Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, CEO of Dar Al Ber Society.
As part of the event, exclusive lucky draws were organised for children with determination.
“We, at the social sector of Dar Al Ber Society, feel that it is our responsibility to do something for the children with determination. So, we decided to organise this event as Eid is a perfect moment to spread happiness among these children,” said Hesham Al Zahrani, deputy director, Social Sector at Dar Al Ber Society.
Juhi Yasmeen Khan, corporate social responsibility and charity initiatives expert at Dar Al Ber Society, said, “I always feel happy to serve the children with determination and help them feel important and a part of mainstream society.”
Nilofer Saleem, one of the special guests at the event, said she was overwhelmed with happiness after receiving many gifts from Dar Al Ber Society. “It feels that Eid has already started for all of us here.”
