The pandemic threw a spoke in wheel of physical fashion shows like several other live events, as most of the aforementioned moved to a digital format for obvious safety reasons. However, the 2022 Paris Fashion Week is returning in style and the organisers have revealed their provisional calendar of the Maisons and designers that will be part of the event next year.

The Menswear Fall-Winter Collection for 2022-2023 will be showcased from January 18 to 23, 2022. And according to the provisional calendar, it is going to be a stunning display by fashion houses and designers from around the world.

Lukhanyo Mdingi will kickstart the proceedings on the opening day, followed by Youths in Balaclava, Bluemarble, Georges Wendell, EGONlab, Taakk and Kidill. Etudes meanwhile will close the show on the day.

The remainder of shows will see iconic fashion Houses such as Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme and Hermès showcase their latest menswear range along with a host of renowned brands such as Kenzo, Issey Miyake, Paul Smith, Ungaro, Loewe, Namesake, Airei, Ziggy Chen, Kidsuper and more. Over the course of the show, in excess of 90 designers and houses will display their latest creations.

The final day, January 23, 2022, will open with a show by Kenzo, while Wales Bonner will be the closing act that will draw the curtains on the event.

The event features presentation by several designers and fashion houses, and is held semi-annually. The format, usually is Spring-Summer and Fall-Winter each year. The French Fashion Federation determines the dates, and the event is held at several venues across the Paris.

The most widely-recognised inaugural Paris Fashion Week was held in 1973.
