Watch: Fireworks mark Diwali in UAE

Indian expatriates in UAE are celebrating the festival of lights.  

Indian expat homes in Bur Dubai and elsewhere are a riot of colour as they sport lights of all hues, even as Diwali parties abound and gold purchases peak ahead of the busy weekend.

Fireworks are a major part of the festivities. There are several Diwali entertainment options in the city, including a special daily fireworks show behind the Rajmahal Theatre at Bollywood Parks in Dubai Parks & Resorts between October 19 and 21.
