Dubai: Airport passengers were in for a surprise as a VIP guest walked through Dubai Duty Free.  

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, inspected Dubai International Airport on Sunday, accompanied with Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad inspected the facilities and procedures at Dubai International Airport, and directed officials to raise the bar in welcoming travellers and simplifying procedures. 

During the weekend, residents praised Dubai Police for going out of their way to make Chinese passengers at the airport feel special with a warm welcome.

Dubai Police welcomed Chinese tourists during UAE-China week by spreading happiness and positive energy, which reflected the hospitality of Emiratis and UAE society.
