Dubai: An Emirati student living in London was assaulted on early Sunday morning as he sat in his Mercedes G-class SUV in the central part of the city.
The video of the assault shows the suspect walking quickly to the driver’s seat as he yanked out Al Hosani through the car window, and throwing punches repeatedly at his head.

Al Hosani, who studies business administration at a university in London, was quoted by the Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm, said that two young Lebanese men who worked at a restaurant opposite the street rushed to his aid, and held the suspect until police arrived.
He added with surprise that while many Arabic speakers were watching the attack unfold, none of them intervened to help.
