Two hurt in three-car crash on Dubai's Al Garhoud bridge

Dubai: Two people were injured in a traffic accident involving three vehicles on Al Garhoud bridge on Friday afternoon, Dubai Police told Gulf News.

Two cars were involved in a crash and both hit the barrier of the bridge and a third car crashed into them resulting in moderate injuries to one person while another person suffered minor injuries.

“The accident occurred at 12.53pm involving three vehicles on Al Garhoud bridge towards Bur Dubai. Two people were injured. Police patrols and ambulance arrived at the scene, controlled traffic and attended to the injured people,” a spokesperson of Dubai Police told Gulf News. “One car was totally damaged,” he added.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.

Dubai Police urged motorists to exercise caution, follow traffic instructions and to not exceed speed limits.
