Dubai: Luck struck twice for an expatriate in Dubai who won Dh3.6 million at a raffle draw for the second time on Tuesday.

Musleh Mousa Hassan, a Lebanese national, was declared winner of the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire during the latest draw at Dubai International Airport.

His ticket number 0742 won for him the top prize of $1 million. But it’s not the first time Hassan has struck gold in the same promotion.

Back in November 2012, the 73-year-old corporate manager of an insurance company first bagged $1 million.

Apparently, he didn’t stop buying raffle tickets since hitting it big with the lottery. He has been a regular participant of the draw for quite sometime now and his latest win made him the seventh person to be twice lucky at the same draw.

“I remember when I first won a $1 million in 2012 - I was over the moon, and winning again after six years is just truly an unexpected surprise. Thank you, Dubai Duty Free for my amazing second win," Hassan said.

He is the tenth Lebanese to win the jackpot since the draw’s inception in 1999.

Three other participants of the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise draw also won luxury vehicles. A French national, identified as  G. Barre, will be driving home a BMW X6 M Exclusive in Melbourne red metallic.

Another player, Imran Shaikh from India who is based in Dubai, won a Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe in rhodium silver, while Pakistani national Naveed Yousaf, also based in Dubai, will be driving home a BMW R 1200 GS Adventure in racing red.
