Sharjah: A toddler has died after falling into a bucket of water at his home in Sharjah’s industrial area, a police official told Gulf News.
The incident took place on Wednesday.
The one-year old boy, M.N.A., was rushed to Al Qasimi Hospital at around 4pm. He was admitted to the intensive care unit where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police said the boy was found to have fallen in a bucket filled with water in the bathroom.
Doctors at the hospital said the victim had suffered brain damage.
Police in Sharjah have urged parents to be more vigilant and ensure their children’s safety at all times.
