Dubai: The Women’s Committee at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) held numerous events in celebration of Emirati Women’s Day launched by Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

This year’s celebrations are dedicated to showing appreciation of the noble contributions of Emirati women serving in the armed forces.

“The Women Committee has celebrated the Emirati Women’s Day by holding a host of distinguished events over two days,” said Mouza Al Merri, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication and Deputy Chairwoman of Women’s Committee, RTA. “Women employees have been escorted to the Women Museum, Girl’s House. situated in the Old Market in order to brief them about the achievements of Emirati women in various fields. The gallery contains a number of innovative, intellectual, artist and scientific corners showcasing the profile of Emirati women in the community. The achievements of prominent Emirati women leaders have been broadcast via RTA’s intranet to inspire female employees to follow suit in serving the nation,” said Mouza.
