Reader pictures of the day

1. Neelima Muneef took this picture in Khasab, Oman. She said: “The high tide was slowly raising the water level when I saw these beautiful stones. I quickly ran to capture a close-up shot. The gigantic mountains in the backdrop framed the picture very well. I was mesmerised. I thought of the popular quote, ‘adopt the pace of Nature as her secret is patience’.”

2. Gokil Nair focused on the detailed pattern on the wings of the dragonfly. He said: “I wanted to take a close-up picture of this beautiful insect, to show off the fact that Nature is beautiful to its tiniest bits.”

3. Abdul Kareem pulled out his lens for our beautiful Nature. He said: “The droplets bouncing on the green leaves in the morning looked beautiful. It is amazing how Nature does these little magical things and adds life to out lives.”
