Police seek help in identifying lost child
A 10-year-old boy with special needs has been found wandering alone in Fujairah
Fujairah: The parents of a boy found wandering alone on a road in Fujairah on Monday have still not been located, according to Fujairah Police.
Police were despatched to the scene after a man reported spotting a 10-year-old boy wandering about on a road and appearing to be in a state of panic, Lieutenant Colonel Dr Saeed Al Hassani, acting director of Media and Public Relations Department in Fujairah Police, said.
The boy, the police said, is a special needs child.
“We did not receive any missing persons report either from Fujairah or from other emirates,” said Lt Col Al Hassani. The boy, however, is in good physical condition and is receiving care.
Police have posted the child’s photograph on their social media accounts and sought the public’s help in identifying the boy.
