Police officer jumps into sea to save woman from drowning in Ras Al Khaimah

Lieutenant Al Ahmad managed to save the woman despite strong waves that dragged them into the sea

Ras Al Khaimah: Lieutenant Mohammad Mahmoud Al Ahmad, an RAK Police officer, rescued an Arab woman from drowning at a beach in Ras Al Khaimah.

The officer saw the woman drowning and he entered the sea in his police uniform and brought her ashore to safety. He managed to save the woman despite strong waves dragging them into the sea. The woman was given first aid and taken to hospital for a medical check-up.

Major General Ali Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, lauded the efforts of the police officer and honoured him for his courage and prompt response.
