Jebel Ali Free Zone launches blood donation drive
Four-bed mobile camp is located outside Building 14 in the free zone

Dubai: Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) held its second blood donation drive of the year in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
The DHA’s four-bed mobile camp located outside Jafza’s Building 14 was set up on September 4 for donors including Jafza officials and other employees.
Blood collected during the drive will help abate the blood shortage affecting thalassemia patients and be used in the treatment of accident victims and emergency cases. Collections will be distributed primarily to Latifa Hospital, along with the Rashid Trauma Centre and Dubai Hospital.
