Dubai: Social media in the UAE was bursting with praise for Dubai’s Crown Prince, as his deep-sea fishing cruise turned into a pleasant surprise.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince – who is also affectionately known as Fazza – was diving in UAE waters when he saw a fish trapped at the bottom of the sea.

“After the fish was freed from the trap, it kept on swimming left and right around Shaikh Hamdan as if it was trying to thank him. Although there were three of us with him in his underwater trip, the fish was only around Shaikh Hamdan,” said Ali Eissa, Hamdan’s private photographer.

Through Eissa’s social media accounts, the story was circulated on Instagram and Snapchat on Monday, which showed the rescued fish swimming for five minutes around the crown prince.

The photographer also shared images and videos of the rescued fish with Shaikh Hamdan, titled ‘The story of Fazza and the fish,’ which have so far received more than 10,000 views.

Commenting about the incident, Amaria41 said: “It's official nemo loves his highness as we all do.... Incredible capture… this clarifies the meaning of photography capturing these special moments forever.”

Another fan of the royal family, nanie_a, posted: “Thanks Ali for sharing and for translating it to English! What an epic story.. On a fish lingo it simply means...."Thank you Fazza, I am so blessed being your captive.”
