Drug awareness campaign starts on June 25

Abu Dhabi: To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse on June 26 the National Rehabilitation Centre is taking part in a nationwide campaign to spread awareness on the dangers of drug abuse.

The campaign, Stay with Us, Your Life is Precious, will kick off on June 25 and run until June 28. It will include several advertisements across the UAE.

The campaign will also feature various sports events, including an hour-long bike ride along Abu Dhabi Corniche on June 26 from 7pm; a promotional stand at the airport, at some malls and Adnoc stations as well as advertisements on social networking sites.
