Dubai: The UAE Space Agency said on Monday that another expired satellite is expected to enter the atmosphere at 6:15pm and may be seen in the UAE.

The celestial spectacle may also be visible in Arab countries, according to a tweet by Mohammad Al Ahbabi, Director General of the UAE Space Agency.

Last week, a flaming object seen in the UAE sky turned out to be a decayed satellite.

The satellite was reportedly launched on December 19, 2012 at a Russian space complex. It re-entered the atmosphere on October 16.

UAE residents took videos and photos of a bright flash streaking through the night sky in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It was also reportedly seen in other parts of the Arabian Gulf.
