Al Majaz Waterfront to host activities and shows during Eid
The programme is being held over the three days of Eid Al Fitr from 5pm to 9pm at Mini Splash Park
Sharjah: Al Majaz Waterfront will be hosting a fun-filled family entertainment programme for people of all ages during Eid Al Fitr, it was announced on Sunday.
Visitors to Sharjah’s Al Majaz Waterfront, the emirate’s premier family and tourist destination, during Eid Al Fitr can enjoy an array of leisure activities and interactive shows that have been specially laid on for the holiday period.
Activities for families at Al Majaz Waterfront during Eid Al Fitr include bubble-shows, face-painting, balloon-modelling, a Brazilian circus, and more. The programme is being held over the three days of Eid Al Fitr from 5pm to 9pm at Mini Splash Park, one of Al Majaz Waterfront’s key amenities, with daily entrance tickets on sale for Dh30.
“For the special occasion of Eid Al Fitr, we have organised entertainment activities for kids that include face-painting — with artists on hand to turn children’s faces into those of colourful animals and fantasy creatures — and balloon modelling, with expert entertainers twisting balloons into animal shapes, hats and swords,” said Mohammad Fadhil Al Mazroui, Manager of Al Majaz Waterfront.
“We are holding a puppet theatre, marionette shows, plays, musicals and numerous other events. We aim to keep visitors and tourists fully engaged with our programme, which has been devised to highlight Eid’s spirit of happiness and to create a unique and unforgettable occasion for every member of the family,” he added.
The scheduled programme of events coincide with its annual ‘Summer Fun’ at Majaz Waterfront, a yearly calendar fixture that highlights its position as a key tourist attraction that caters to all segments of society.
