Abu Dhabi Police mark drug abuse day

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police is marking International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Monday with an initiative themed ‘Be with your children, and they will be good’.

In a statement, Major General Mohammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said that the campaign is in line with the UAE leadership’s keenness to create a stable and secure community.

Al Rumaithi noted that Abu Dhabi has launched initiatives to counter drug abuse in cooperation with local, regional and international organisations and institutions.
