Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) organised a ceremony on Thursday to honour schools and winners in categories of the Aoun’s Award for Community Service for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Awards were distributed to 20 public and private schools who excelled in ERC’s programmes and activities. Rashid Mohammad Al Kaabi, director of the Volunteers Department at ERC, said that 189 schools participated this year in the award’s activities.
