The 18th edition of the Middle East and Africa’s (MEA) largest automotive aftermarket trade fair runs from December 14-16, 2021, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

With exhibitors from 47 countries spanning 27,000sq. m. across eight halls, the annual three-day event has made its long-awaited return, with trade buyers and industry professionals expected to attend from more than 130 countries over three days.

A total of 12 country pavilions from Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the UK, and the USA, are also out in force, as the biggest names in the global automotive aftermarket look to make inroads in a regional market that’s on an upward track.

“We’re confident that demand for the automotive service industry and aftermarket products will remain robust, despite the headwinds bought about by the global pandemic,” said Mahmut Gazi Bilikozen, Automechanika Dubai’s Show Director.

“In the GCC alone, the value of the automotive parts market is estimated to be worth US$5.47 billion (Dh20 billion) in 2021, and this is set to grow at nearly six percent over the next four years to reach US$6.84 billion (Dh25 billion) in 2025.

“The auto aftermarket is changing, and with that change comes new opportunities,” added Bilikozen. “Our vision for Automechanika Dubai is to be at the forefront of these new opportunities, presenting a unique platform for all industry stakeholders to start discussions, plan ahead, and to ultimately lay the foundations for long-term sustainable success.”

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East with a host of new and returning features, Automechanika Dubai is a vital trade platform that connects leading manufacturers, suppliers, brands and industry experts in the region, and from around the world.

This year, the show features a number of returning highlights including the three-day Automechanika Academy conference; the Modern Workshop; the Innovative Solutions Zone; and AfriConnections, connecting African buyers with global suppliers.

New in 2021 is the Automechanika Awards, where a shortlist of 49 finalists from 161 nominations contesting 19 categories will be celebrated and honoured among industry peers on the second day of the show.

Another new feature this year is the Tools & Skills Competition, an action packed live stage where workshop specialists can demonstrate their skills in tire changing, tire mounting, smart dent removal, and much more.

Innovative solutions for all vehicle types

Automechanika Dubai 2021 covers the six major product sections of Parts and Components; Electronics and Systems; Accessories and Customising; Tyres and Batteries; Repair and Maintenance; and Car Wash, Care and Reconditioning.

Via its specialised ‘competence’ initiative, the dedicated showpiece event also makes it easier for traders to source parts across the entire aftermarket value chain, whether for trucks, commercial or passenger vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural vehicles, and even classic cars.
