Wondering how you can start off with US$3,000 and buy a Maruti Alto and six months later have accumulated US$30,000, enough to buy a Porsche or Lamborghini?
Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer knows how, and he’s ready to show the UAE. The host of the Discovery Channel’s show filmed an episode in Dubai on a warm Thursday morning at the Autodrome last week.
Starting in India, Brewer travelled to several countries including Japan, Sweden and Mexico where he and his crew find rundown cars, transform them into sleek beauties ready to sell at a profit. And six months later, he found himself travelling to Dubai in the hope of getting a luxury car.
Following an announcement on Radio 1, some of Dubai’s finest cars made their way to the Autodrome with Aston Martins competing alongside the Shelby Cobra for Brewer’s attention.
“I have my eye on this grey Porsche with red leather interior,” he told tabloid!. The car enthusiast returns to Dubai in March to make his selection.
The series will air in early summer on OSN’s Discovery HD channel.
