NEW HORIZONS Expo 2020, which promises to be the Greatest Show in the World, is all set to offer innovations that will change the way we live our lives through exhibitions and events galore. Here’s a look at seven immersive experiences at the Expo, which opens in October and which will have you heading back for more.

WALK UNDER LUSH TREES Designed to represent Singapore’s image as a ‘City in a Garden,’ the country pavilion allows visitors to take a languid stroll beneath hanging gardens and canopies of trees. When at the Singapore Pavilion also check out the nine-metre-tall garden cones.

GO MOUNTAIN CLIMBING A three-act journey in the Switzerland Pavilion, you get to experience an Alpine climb with a sea of real fog that ends in a platform with stunning mountain vistas. Oh, and there’s fondue at the end of the journey too.

A 360-DEGREE VIEW ‘The Kaleidoscope’ construct in the Monaco Pavilion, which is inspired by the iconic Rock of Monaco, will take you on a glittery 360-degree immersive journey through the country’s history, art and culture.

INTERACTIVE LEARNING Besides digitally guided tours and physical exhibitions, at the Norway Pavilion you can also witness Norway’s maritime activities through augmented reality and learn about the dangers to ocean health such as marine litter, oil spill and overfishing.

YOU CHANGE THE WORLD In the ‘Forest of the Future’ installation in the Spain Pavilion, the floor will react to your movements. How you interact with your surroundings will be reflected on the ‘Tree of Balance,’ causing it to either bloom or wither.

LOOK UP The USA Pavilion has a special display for you; an eight-minute production projected onto the ceiling that showcases American technologies in the making.

POETRY BY AI Your words will be moulded into poetry using Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the UK pavilion.
