EXEED ET Extended-Range 4WD breaks nearly 20-year-old extreme snow slope challenge record
On December 19, EXEED ET successfully accomplished the world's first 37.82 degrees snow slope challenge at the skiing venue of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
For a family SUV, climbing a 37.82 degrees slope is unimaginable due to its daunting difficulty level. Rarely has anyone dared to attempt it, with only Audi Quattro having challenged a 37.5 degrees snow slope in Kieprz, Finland, in 1986 and 2005. No one has surpassed this feat since. This time, the new EXEED ET Extended-Range 4WD took on the challenge of the 60m-high, equivalent to a 20-stoery building, Big Air Ski Jump in Beijing. The snow slope was steeper, and the road conditions were more severe, increasing the difficulty.
The high difficulty and low margin of error for this project made the atmosphere on-site extremely tense, stirring the hearts of every staff member and spectator. Immediately after the starting gun was fired, the vast Big Air Ski Jump, which had been bustling with noise, fell into a sudden silence, as if time had been frozen by the ice and snow.
After a brief moment of silence, the new EXEED ET Extended-Range 4WD emerged like a bolt of lightning, breaking through the ice. The rapidly spinning wheels continuously churned up the snow, and in just a few seconds, it left two tracks as it charged to the top of the slope, smoothly coming to a stop at the finish line. In an instant, the dust settled, and the scene erupted into enthusiastic cheers. The world's first 37.82 degrees slope climb challenge was a success, and the nearly 20-year-old extreme snow slope challenge record was once again broken by the EXEED brand.
The EXEED ET REEV 4WD delivers a total output power of 345 kW and a remarkable maximum torque of 7,400 N·m, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The vehicle’s all-terrain intelligent 4WD system incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as the IAS intelligent air suspension, the CDC damping system, and intelligent torque vectoring control, enabling a dynamic 0-100 per cent front-to-rear axle torque distribution. This allows the vehicle to effectively navigate seven complex terrains, including snow and sand.
The EXEED ET has embarked on extensive on-site testing in the Middle East, with a testing mileage exceeding 10,000 kilometres. This rigorous testing regimen is designed to showcase the model's reliability and robustness under diverse conditions.
EXEED is also set to unveil its luxurious SUV, the EXEED ET, in the UAE during the first quarter of 2025. Alongside this launch, the brand will also introduce its first-ever sedan, the EXEED ES, a C-segment large sedan positioned as a luxury performance vehicle.
