Twitter users criticise Daesh:
It was a sad day for historians and archeologists after. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an activist and monitoring group based in Britain, said Sunday that Islamic State fighters had destroyed part of the nearly 2,000-year-old temple of Bel in Palmyra. They bemoaned of the architectural masterpeice that the world was losing due to these activities of terror.

#Palmyra: Twitter users shared pictures and updates from Palmyra. Tweeps widely criticised Daesh and their activities. Though some tweeps said, Syrian war victims and human lives should be given more importance than the temples.
