So what if the US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was sick? Why is this being made into a big scandal with the attention of international news outlets? All I have been hearing from the presidential run is childish, which is concerning since this is a very serious matter.

I don’t understand why Donald Trump would make a statement that he would wonder whether Hillary can stand for an hour at the dais as he does. It is childish for a presidential candidate to make such a statement. He should be happy and content that his body has been able to help him stay up and making such comments. He amuses people with his cheap humour and it’s surprising that America has accepted this behaviour in a nation of high repute and strength.

If Trump had visited Clinton, paid respect to her, enquired about her health and wished her to get well soon, he would have won many hearts. A presidential candidate who shows empathy and concern for a fellow contestant will convey a great message to the nation.

It is a pity that the world is waking up to hear Trump’s weight loss requirement and fitness certificate. Pneumonia is an infection and anyone can get it and it’s not going to make Clinton unfit.

Why would the Democrats worry about this chatter? Such furore only shows that the country thrives on individuals and not on the team. It is a pity that leadership is confined to just one person. Leadership is not something that gets alienated by infections. Leadership is a being and if Clinton has it in her, she will bounce back with great energy in no time.
