Warplanes bombed a strategic camp on the northern edge of Aleppo on Sunday as Syrian government and rebel forces battled for control in a Russian-backed offensive. Planes also continued to pound residential parts of the town, flattening buildings. More than 250,000 civilians are trapped in the besieged area and there is growing concern about the escalation in violence since a ceasefire, announced just two weeks ago, unravelled.

Cattleya Leia: “I cried knowing the system and how destroyed Syria is nowadays.. Where is the UN Humanitarian efforts? Why you let those terrorists do these terrible things to Syria? These children’s future are at risk why don’t you care?”

Bryon Lippincott: “I’m honestly speechless that this is still going on. I see something about Aleppo occasionally but not often and I forget. I don’t want to forget but the reality is that it is easier to forget than to do something. Follow this link, Sign the petition for the UN to intervene. If you can donate to the White Helmets so they can continue to save lives in Syria.”

Valeriem Hughes: “Please support PROTEST ALEPPO SYRIA ... DUBLIN - This rally is in response to the dramatically worsening situation in Syria in general and Aleppo in particular since the collapse of the recent so-called ceasefire. The revulsion that many of us feel towards the events there needs to be expressed in a mass demonstration to be of consequence. #STOPTHEBOMB”

Ryan Colehem: “Russia and Syria have again committed war crimes against the Syrian people. UN or Obama must stop them. Stop the war! I really pray the war in Syria comes to an end so these children can stop suffering from a war that’s not even theirs to burden. ߘ?

#Stopthewarinsyria”

Raffy Gutierrez: “You have to be extremely blind not to see that the bombing in Syria has made the stockholders of certain weapon companies in the world very very rich.

What are the lives of these Syrians worth to them? Stock value. It’s that simple. The real evil are the ones supporting ISIS.”

Scott Werntz: “I’m afraid we do nothing. It is past time for all of us to speak up!”

Gollie Laghaeifar: “Talk to me about how terrifying and dangerous refugees are. Talk to me about how OUR lives are threatened by aiding these helpless people. Tell me why our lives are more valuable. Can you put yourself in their shoes for a second? You can’t. You’ve never lived in a place where you have ZERO options with nowhere to go. You’ve never had a life where death was probably your best bet out of the hell you’re stuck in. I think those who witness this and turn their back while capable of providing help, are the real threats. They are the actual people to be feared.”
