On January 31, 2015, Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of pop stars Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, set off a media frenzy after she was found unconscious in a bathtub. She was placed into hospice care on June 24. on Sunday, Brown died at the age of 22.

On Sunday evening, Twitterati lashed out against Salman Khan’s tweets over the death sentence of 1993 Mumbai blasts accused Yakub Memon. Khan retracted his controversial tweets and ‘apologised unconditionally’.

The Bajrangi Bhaijan star faced flak over his tweets that condemned the hanging of Yakub Memon and demanded that his brother Tiger Memon be brought to justice instead. Political party members held protests outside his home and even his father Salim Khan called his remarks as ‘ignorant’.
