The environment is important for all life throughout the world, which is why it’s important for us to protect this masterpiece of God. We are indeed exploiting the environment to its limit and it’s affecting wildlife that is becoming extinct or endangered.

The environment was created in such a way that all beings should live in a balanced and dependent surrounding. That was how the environment was designed, but by the look of things, it seems as though the human race has utilised the entirety of the environment to its own benefit. The responsibility of the destruction of the environment is on us.

But, it’s not too late to rectify our wrongdoings if we start now and save our environment. Making a conscious effort to decrease the amount of pollution we’re making, increasing the amount of trees we plant, using public transportation and the use of more environment friendly products. The list is long.

In order to save the environment you need to be aware of what you are doing, buying, using and how it effects the environment.

There are many ways we can help save the environment every day. You can reduce the amount of waste you produce by buying products in bulk, rather than in individually wrapped containers. You can also reuse things. Before you throw broken things away, see how much it would take to repair them. Donate used clothes, furniture, toys, books and magazines to charity. It is also very easy to recycle. You can try to find recycling centres in your area that will accept toner cartridges, aluminium, car batteries and motor oil.

Another thing you can do, if possible, is compost. Compost makes a great fertiliser for your plants.

One very easy thing to do is conserve water. Check your shower heads to conserve water and lower your bill. You can replace them with low flow shower heads. You can add low flow faucet aerators to your sinks. When you have to replace your toilet, look into a low flush toilet.

By adjusting our lives slightly with simple steps, we can all make the world a better place to live and restore the balance and harmony.
