Fidel Castro, the fiery apostle of revolution who brought the Cold War to the Western Hemisphere in 1959 and then defied the United States for nearly half a century as Cuba’s maximum leader, bedevilling 11 US presidents and briefly pushing the world to the brink of nuclear war, died on November 25. He was 90.

#FidelCastro - The hashtag trended on all social media channels as Castro’s supporters praised the man who stood up to America during the Cold War and returned Cuba to the people. His critics, however, called him a dictator.
