It is a matter of great concern to every Indian, as to what is happening within the Indian judiciary.

On several occasions in the past, many apprehensions on the credibility and integrity of the Lower Courts and the High Courts, have been raised, but unfortunately, now even the Supreme Court has come under the same shadow. It has now been downplayed as a ‘storm in a teacup’.

Conflicting verdicts pronounced by different courts at different levels, have been doing their own damage to the credibility of the judiciary in general. Corruption reigns all over India in all the possible areas of power and authority. Why should the court be given the special status of infallibility and unquestionability? Whenever, anyone happens to raise doubts and concerns on the credibility and honesty of a judge, they can be charged for contempt of court and even imprisoned.

The reason behind the current drama going on in the Supreme court, is the death of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge Brijgopal Harkishan Loya, who was examining an extremely sensitive crime against a very strong politician, currently in power. Though the senior family members of the departed judge have openly raised their doubts, about the mystery behind his sudden death, more influential people on the other side have managed to influence his 21-year-old son to hold a press conference.

Throughout the press conference, the young boy was flanked by two unknown men, and was finally led away by the same men out of the room immediately.

An impartial and honest investigation into the death of Judge Loya, is likely to reveal a long story explaining the unprecedented drama that took place in the Supreme Court, though it is claimed to have been resolved.
